SP211 series products are a two-component, solvent-free, self-curing polyurethane adhesive. Unlike the one-component polyurethane adhesive, which requires moisture curing in the air,

SP211 is especially suitable for bonding on closed occasions because it has a curing agent. The injection system is suitable for the corner connection of aluminum doors and windows. It has very high hardness, certain toughness, and good joint-filling ability.

Application Process

Cure Mechanism

The curing of SEPNA SP21X takes place through a chemical reaction of the two components. Higher temperatures speed up the curing process and lower slow it down.

In big bead applications, the generated heat of exothermic reaction can speed up the cure, reducing the pot life.

 

Method of Application

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from grease, oil, dust, and contaminants.
After the cleaning process, a physical or chemical pretreatment might be required, depending on the surface and type of material. The type of pretreatment must be determined by tests.

 

APPLICATION
 

SEPNA SP21X is dispensed by piston guns adequate for 620 ml 1:1 side-by-side cartridges.
For application out of the cartridge, the extrusion force must not exceed 3.3 kN. Extrude adhesive without a mixer to equalize the filling levels.
Attach the mixer and dispose of the first few cm of the bead prior to the application. Check the color of the adhesive and make sure it is mixed properly (no strings or stripes in the extruded bead). The mixer must be changed if the application is interrupted for longer than 7 minutes.

 

 

PACKING AND STORAGE

 

Package specification:   Double tube plastic cylinder packaging (equipped with static mixing nozzle)   600ml/PCs, 12 PCS/ box

Storage: SEPNA SP21X has to be kept between 10 °C and 30 °C in a dry place.   Do not expose it to direct sunlight or frost. After opening the packaging, the content has to be protected against humidity. The storage period is 9 months from the production period

Transportation:   moisture-proof, rainproof, sunproof, high-temperature roof, keep away p from heat sources, handle with care, and do not squeeze or collide
